Avengers: Infinity War Rewatch!
CA Rewatch Page Not gonna lie, I really don't want to watch this and end game again lol...my solace though is that I don't think Bucky's that prominent so I can zone out for most of it (I think)
Okay being that most of this movie is non-Bucky-related but also that I can't help myself, I'm going to bold the Bucky notes and just make random notes as I feel like it
- I'm sure that the Feige brothers having Loki get to use the very line used against him in Avengers 1 "We have a Hulk," was very fun for them. I also like to imagine the character Loki waiting for his day, post-Thor 3 (or whichever one the Taika Waititi one is), to use it on someone else. A small perk for his allyship.
- Wait, what does the Time stone do if not control time? Why can't Dr. Strange just go back to before the aliens came to earth?
- Bucky's back! "the White Wolf" is a silly name to have given him lol
- This man is so done with fighting. He knows he has to, because the Wakandans saved him, but he is visibly dreading it.
- "And a semi-stable 100-year-old man." Aww
- I don't know, it just feels like they should be able to hide Vision's energy somehow? Like a wall of Morty's hiding Rick's energy? I guess the movie would be too boring though
- "Get this man a shield." IDK maybe get him guns?? Did you see how many alien ships just crash landed outside your dome?
- I have severely overestimated how much Bucky would be in any of these movies. Genuinely, I should have just watched the TV show and Thunderbolts...I might just skip End Game.
- Maybe I'm nitpicking but I feel like when Bucky got blipped, his arm should not have? Like it's not really part of him, right?
- The remaining group mourning and processing around Vis' body should be impactful but tbh, I'm being very distracted by Bruce Banner's head just popping out of the "Hulk"-like suit. Like they couldn't have had him dismount? Also how did he even get out of the pile of rocks he was embedded into?
OK I actually think I'm going to skip End Game. Trying to consider just how many characters they have to fit in and how little Bucky's gonna be in it...or I don't know, maybe I'll just skip around. It's just so long...for honestly, so little payoff with what I'm trying to do specifically.... IDK I'll think about it.
